ASL 46' any interest?

The GHQ micro armor company has a line of 1946 mostly German, vehicles. These were the drawing board projects that never were produced do to the war ending. I admit the concept of the war going longer and some of this armor looks great. Do you folks think there is an ASL interest in a 46' era of scenarios & counters for gaming? I do not know of a company picking this concept up, but I think some private individuals could possible make this work. I have seen some of counter avatars some of the folks here have and know some one has the know how to do this. Your thoughts on the subject would be helpful. Yes, you can say I am a sucker for new counters & scenarios to keep ASL fresh. Let's face it, we all like shiny new toys.

I think the only “46” we are going to officially see is the “48” AIW from MMP.

But then again, if RT sees this thread, some “46” might start appearing, if it already hasn't. (Not a CH fan)

Critical have done a couple of rare German vehicle packs that cover the E series and Waffentraegers along with some other things there are some counters in the German OB from BGD with the Waffentraegers that were known to see combat plus some Katzchen apc’s.

Sure, but Germany was a smoking ruin in '45, can't see how a bunch of scenarios of the Allies patrolling the rubbled wasteland for possible Nazi "resistance fighters" in '46 would be much fun to play. I think a (possibly) more interesting alternative history would be Operation Downfall, the invasion of Japan. The Japanese had hoarded some of their best equipment for the defense of the home islands and it never saw combat (and the kit actually existed as opposed to all the paper panzers/super aircraft/flying saucer stuff).

Wasn't somebody working on Operation Sealion stuff bitd? That's an alternate history that's at least plausible.

Ian Danglish (Historian and Author) was, unfortunately he passed in 2011. I heard it was submitted to MMP, but I can not verify that as fact.

I think an argument could be made that is was more likely that Operation Downfall would have been needed than the Germans could have realistically pulled off Sealion, but YMMV.

Kenneth Macksey wrote a great book in 1990, Invasion that covered the hypothetical invasion of England in July 1940.
With the Germans landing between Dover and Hythe and including the final crucial campaign at Maidstone.

Genesis III & Magoch '78 are the latest products, from CH, along the lines of what you are asking about. If you truly want something like this buying them with a CH discount code would be a little more acceptable to pay for.

I know that a group is out there play testing an Arab/ Israeli module, from MMP, but it is quite a bit away from publication.
