In this scenario, the German player gets 12 factors of "Minefield", but do not specify if AT or AP (must be AP, but says nothing...).

Is there any errata about that? There must be one...

TIA

Those are AP (I believe all scenarios work that way).
You can convert them (3 for 1) to AT.
See B28.5 : "28.5 ANTI-TANK (A-T) MINES: At the start of a scenario, a player may opt to exchange all or part of his OB minefield [EXC: Known Minefield; 28.45] factor capability for A-T Mines."
This implicitly indicates that the "factor capacity" is AP, before conversion.

From memory you can also trade 10 factor of AP mines for booby traps on one board.
Although almost every scenario where you're given mines has an ssr that they can't be exchanged for booby traps.

I don't find that to be the case. It's not the case in this scenario either. I think that a lot of players and designers forget about BT. On their own they're of marginal use, but in combination with minefields, where the attacker wants to search then they easily pay for themselves.

Bill Mauldin cartoon: Willie and Joe checking out an Italian road for mines, while a field grade officer in a jeep is behind them.
Field grade officer: "Don't hurry on my account, son. I like to see young men take an interest in their work."
