Kung Fu was my fave as a kid. And wasn't one of the guys in the High Chaparal also a porn star?
I don't know about High Chaparal. Maybe your thinking of Chuck Conner from the RifleMan show who was rumored to have appeared in a gay porno flick. I remember years ago this was on a film along with Betty White getting it on with 2 guys in a cornfield.

I was never one to watch fanatically Westerns but as a kid I caught the classic TV series, eg. Cisco Kid, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Wagon Train, etc. I never went specifically to the movies to see a Western but that changed after being assigned to work in El Paso from 2000 through 2002. I really fell in love with the Old West and started catching quality flicks and TV movies if they involved life out west.

My recent favorite was "Open Range" and previlously I liked "The Quick and the Dead". I did not like "3:10 to Yuma" but thought the acting was good.

Open Range was really good. Some may be put off by the lack of action though.

Quick and the Dead with Sam Elliott (an HBO movie back in 1987) or the one with Sharon Stone (1995) :( ?

3:10 to Yuma was ok but the ending kinda didn't make sense.

I didn't like 3:10 to Yuma much at all. The story was a mess and the whole thing just seemed to be rather pointless.

Once Upon a Time in the West is probably at the top of my list, followed by The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Tombstone, and Lonesome Dove.

Tombstone was good. I liked Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid. :devious:

I like the Magnificent Seven and Big Jake.
Same.

[The Duke] Rio Bravo, Rio Lobo and El Dorado. Also the Red River and the Searchers are good if you like a darker John Wayne.

[Others]
Unforgiven if course. I also liked Rawhide and Bonanza for some reason. What was the Charles Bronson one with the white buffalo? "The white buffalo"?:clown:

Actors born to play a cowboy on the screen (in no paticular order):

- The Duke
- Clint
- Sam Elliott
- Robert Duvall
- Slim Pickens

Others...?
