Are Historical Battle Rules applicable to that product, or all BFP products?

For example, Crucible of Steel HBR #5 states trenches automatically connect to same level, adjacent building hexes. Would trenches in Poland in Flames similarly connect? The PiF cards simply state "See PiF HBR", which taken alone would imply to me that rules do not cross products, but maybe I missed a more general rule elsewhere. Thanks all.

I would leave it up to @Chas to give you the complete answer, but my understanding is yes. If the rules for the particular product extended or included the other HBR, then it was intended to be part of what you have. Wait to hear from @Chas for confirmation. @rreinesch is another who could confirm too. -- jim

They are not ubiquitous to every product and only specifically apply to the designated product. In this case CoS HBR do not apply to PiF.

Some individual HBR are used in more than one product.
