Just a double-check here... in the German Turn 2 reinforcement group, is there 2 LMG & 1 PSK, or 2 LMG & 2 PSK? I can never tell on these cards when units/vehicles are double-stacked like this with a red number below the bottom one.

Thanks for any help!

In double stacking on scenario cards, only the counter immediately above the red # is affected. In this case, that means 1 PSK and 2 LMG.

Another question cropped up... SSR #4 Allows the Germans at the start of one Italian MPh, on/after T5, to force all Italians "that can still move" to move north to the extent of their MF/MP, unless they first pass a TC. It says those who leave the mapboard may not return, but are not counted as VP.

Q: What do you do with the rolled-for Italian reinforcements awaiting offboard? Do they take this TC as well, with those failing it being unable to enter? And since there is no APh in this particular "false radio message" turn, they never even get to make an appearance? (This is my guess)

Thanks!

Whereas my guess is that they do not roll and are unaffected.

Perry,

In scenario AP 27 ‘All Roads Lead To Rome’, the Italians roll for reinforcements on Turns 3, 4, 5, and 6. SSR #4 states, “Beginning on Turn 5, the German player may at the start of one Italian MPh require each Good Order non-crew Italian unit that can still move that Turn to take a TC. Any unit which fails must move north to the extent of its normal MP/MF, taking any legal route. AFVs must use road hexes if possible and may not enter bog hexes or use ESB. All fire in the MPh, DFPh and AFPh is prohibited and there is no APh. Italian units which leave the playing area may not return but do not count as eliminated. These requirements cease at the end of the player turn.”

Q: Does this TC, and its possible side effects, apply to rolled-for Italian reinforcements awaiting entry offboard on the turn the German chooses to use it?

No.
