From Brian:

Good news for everyone waiting on an ASLRB reprint. All sections except K are now in our hands in blueline form. Chapter K getting some last minute proofing (necessary due to forced re-layout) and we're hoping to send it to printer on Monday.
Still waiting on AOO counter comments from Perry, more details after this week's playtest session thursday night...

Good news, indeed

As I am not a native speaker, could someone please explain what "blueline" means? My dictionary failed a morale check here.

Lookin' forward to getting both soon. If not by Christmas, maybe by my birthday in late January.

Those items would definitely take the chill off the air. Great news!

Bluelines are printer proofs used for last press checks before an item is printed.

"Blueline" is a specific term used by printers.

In this case it means that the MMP guys have received a draft for approval.

I believe this is referring to the proof copy from the print shop. They print this and send it to the customer for review. If the customer is satisfied they go ahead and print all the remaining copies.

Hi guys-

Well, I would not get too excited if you read about Gamers production:

<<Troy Nordine - Nov 4, 2004 9:27 am (#24691 Total: 24697)
Brian (or Dean), how close is Bloody Ridge to being ready for production after those remaining 31 orders come in? What about TME?

Thanks for any info...>>

Brians response:

<<Brian Youse - Nov 4, 2004 10:41 am (#24692 Total: 24697)

They're ready to go any time except for the boxes which i'm hoping to finish this weekend.

Brian>>

So how far back will this set the ASLRB and AoO?

Brian, with the exception to chapter K, is this version of the rulebook going to be identical to the previous 2nd edition, or have you guys fixed some typos and things of that nature?

It's going to be the same as the 2nd Edition. Chapter K will be the same, too, just spread out a bit with more whitespace. It ends up being something like 8 pages longer. Amazing what a few carriage returns do. 8)
