Well, that's certainly a sport but it's not exactly what I had in mind. I was thinking more of taekwondo, jujitsu, karate, muay thai and things like that.

I boxed between the age of 10 and 12
At the Louvolite boxing club in Hyde, Cheshire, England (Ricky Hatton boxed there and, I think, eventually bought the place).
Strong and a good, solid punch...but sadly not the greatest mover and a glass chin which found me out in the end
I enjoyed it a lot and wish I'd have kept as fit as I was back then !

I'd done a few years Judo before that but didn't really like it...peer pressure

No permanent damage done

I did Judo from a very young age but got bored of it. It was ok, but not really what I was after. Later on I took up Aikido and Tai Chi, both of which I enjoyed, although I always found the staying relaxed bit very difficult. Both of those were very calming and helped with my stress levels, but the best martial art I ever took up was ice hockey. Great fun and really gets rid of all that pent up aggression. I wish I were still fit enough to play.

I did karate in university. But more time and effort was demanded than I was prepared to commit at the time.
