IMHO, it might be that we were hoping simply for an update which cleared up existing errors; rather than getting one that also included game / engine updates of some kind ( like the inclusion of engineers etc. for bridges or dismountable dragoons ).You guys that are in a hurry for these: would you rather have to use an update for another year that might have a code bug in it? Hmm?
It was a retorical question really ...No, as Rich says the update will be out LONG before the next title in the series would be out. We would never leave you hanging.
All important things noted to date have already been advised to Rich H. who have advised that he has passed them on to Bill Peters ( yourself, I believe ). By the way is Rich H. working for JTS and HPS now, or is there a freudian slip here ?If there is a specific scenario that you see that needs fixing just report it to Rich Hamilton at the Support Desk at the JTS website. List filenames and hex locations and unit names and all the pertinent info.
Rich Hamilton never stopped working for HPS, and when JTS began self-publishing he has been their Support contact from their day one as well, fwiw.By the way is Rich H. working for JTS and HPS now, or is there a freudian slip here ?
I would expect updates for this series sometime in the Feb/March time frame - if all goes well. Not a promise, just a estimate.
Have had them in the library for years!I'll be very pleased to see updates when they're ready. After that, how about digging through Charles Oman's seven volumes and doing Wellington's Peninsular Campaign ?

A History of the Peninsular War by Charles Oman M.A Volumes 1 to 7 inc’. Oxford at the Clarendon Press 1902-1930
Do indeed hit the Library in search of this series. It will take some digging, but it's well worth it.
