Animated Gifs as avatars...

could someone who has a program that can handle animated gifs resize this to 140x140 and then adjust the compression so it fits into the 19k limit for XG.


i dont think ive got anythign installed that can deal with animated gifs just static ones.

i resized it and even took it half of the frames and it still 23kb in size.

I used the online tool; GifWorks: GIFWorks.com! Free Online GIF Tools

1. File-Open Image
2. Fetch or Upload the GIF image
3. Edit-Resize is to resize the Width and Height
4. Optimize-Reduce Colors is to reduce the color and file size (compress)
5. File-Save is to save the GIF image

I think it might be a permissons problem. Im in a different usergroup to most people.
