While the author of the book and his claims have been gutted, it might be worth viewing. I suppose if you can handle "Come And See", you can handle anything.

If you have read Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin you can probably appreciate the visual images of this film.

A film about the Eastern front released at the Venice Film Festival:

I read the book as an assignment in college. I always remember the passage describing hiding from the Germans by going into the sh*t under the latrines; it was so vivid for me that it triggered my gag reflex.
