Do Allied Troops suffer some kind of detrimental modifier when forming a Firegroup? This question has nothing to do with Leadership of Allied Troops (last two sentences of A10.7). I just mean two MMC of different (but Allied) nationalities forming a Firegroup. It would seem to make sense that they suffer some kind of +1 DRM, but I can't find it anywhere.

Makes some sense perhaps but (aside from A10.7 you already cite) there is no such rule in ASL AFAICS.

Nor are there many scenarios where it would matter.

If you extrapolate "the problem," it's not just across nationalities, but also across branches/disciplines/more, e.g.
  • US Army w/Marines
  • Wehrmacht w/Luftwaffe security
  • Elites w/lesser-trained generally -- think Ghurka, Commando, First Special Forces
  • Partisan w/regulars
for example,
and there is already a nod to this in the A19.33 rule re Cowering of a FG w/Green/Conscript components.

[A designer might SSR that a mixed-nationality FG is subject to A19.33 perhaps (no matter the troop grade).]
