Congrats Bill. Damn it must have been a great time. Next year DAMN IT!!!
Congrats to Bill as well, a deserving champion and excellent ASL designer (Festung Budapest, enough said).

It was a great time when I was there Carl, it was less than an hour drive for me so made it possible to attend the day rounds.

See you at some point on VASL, Vic.

Great to see you again Vic. Also great to see Dr. Rob again and all of whole gang. I really missed Albany last year. I enjoyed all my games and the camaraderie of a fine group of people. Thanks to Steve for organizing things and keeping everyone on track. A big thanks to Joe for handling some serious adversity from the hotel management and for making an awesome diorama. While I didn't win anything in the raffle for the first time (thanks to Steve's new and clearly malfunctioning raffle drawing app), there was some cool stuff in the raffle as always. Congrats to Bill on the win. I was psyched to win the 'Balls' award, I will display them (I mean it) with pride!

You bet Paul, was great seeing the 'usual suspects' there and had a tremendous time! It was so good to know I can still do OK in a competitive situation after mainly playtesting these past few years. Nice to see you and hope to roll some dice with you down the line, Vic.

BTW, we had 44 people. I was hoping for 40 and we exceeded expectations as far as I'm concerned...
Steve
Glad to hear you exceeded your expectations. Especially happy to hear that everyone had a great time. Nicely done Sir! An excellent job and nothing less than what has come to be expected from one of the best in the game.🤗

I can at least hold my own still but Tom Morin is the best player in the Bunker Crew. :) Getting respect from my ASL peers means everything to me and helps keep me going. I hope to last another 25 years of ASL and Dispatches from the Bunker, Vic.

Next time I take prisoners I’m making them dig foxholes. Then, after they’re dug i’ll make them fill them in with reversentrench.
Congratulations Bill and thanx to Steve and Joe and everybody else for a fine show.
PS , Stanledo ate 1/2 my beef sandwich, I was bummed.

Yeah, I thought Autumn Approach was rather tough on the Brits. Bid of G4-5 sounds about right. Both Bill and I bid G1( I think, or G0) Bill won the toss and the game handily.
GreekTragedy DFT-11 should have at least one Allied victory, I was most lucky against Brian or rather he was unlucky.

Lol my old heart was thrilled to see Guards Counterattack and Strayers Strays on the list! We played Strayers at least ten times consecutively during one session. Those were the days!

Yeah, some of the lopsided numbers don't quite make sense to me. I'd take the Brits with 4 or 5 PBS points all day long in Autumn Approach...

The tournament was a blast, Thanks to all my opponents that made it great fun and of course thanks to Steve and Joe for organizing everything. The hardest thing for me was to enter Norway again where a bunch of policemen where waiting for me 😉, with all their Corona testing…. Thanks 🤓🎖

Hopefully, I will be at ASLOK in 2022, if ever I get a US visa.

If that happens, I gladly offer to play "Not One Step Back!" in the World Cup, against any opponent, and take the Germans.

I still cannot believe it is turning out so pro-attacker, not sure if people are making all the right choices on defense.
