The latest issue of After the Battle has a feature on the battle for Voronezh in 1942. Lots of then and now photos, and some low level tactical accounts of the fighting, including the Motorized Infantry Division Großdeutschland and some of the tank battles in the city. Includes a copy of a 1942 town plan the Germans printed.

Article is by Jason Mark, whose name will be familiar to Red Barricades fans....

Looks like I will have to wait a while before I can buy that single issue. Latest single issue available is #171 and the latest release is #182.

EDIT: Now I have found a way to order it. Just waiting on the Paypal email.

I found it in Canada at the local brick and mortar bookstore, they stock it along with the other history magazines.

It says on the site that "Readers in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States should place their order direct with our distributors."

The US importer is RZM:

The latest issue of ATB is on the main page here:

And details of the issue on the RZM site here:

Price onine is $10.95 from the US importer, note the magazine has no ads.

For U.S. customers, all you need is a phone and a credit card. Call RZM during their EST business hours... I've been doing this for years to renew my subscription and order back issues, never had any problems.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for PayPal to send me the email to pay.

FYI, I bought my copy off the magazine stand at my local Barnes & Noble book store.

After reading it, I didn't see it as HASL-worthy. Would make a nice geo-scenario is about it.

Is that like a historical study product by MMP, etc. or some type of linked scenarios like published in the Journal?

The latest issue (No. 183) is now available (at least digitally). It features the the Battle of Ortona.
Huh. I wonder if there is a difference between the US site and a Commonwealth site as I don’t see Issue 183 listed nor an ability to order pdf versions from the USA.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

Bill

Same thing here. Issue 182 is physically on the newsstand right now, which is why I posted. I think 183 is available electronically, as Richard noted.
