About hps naval campaigns aircraft of carriers

I've got hps Midway, when i launched mine aircraft from aircraft carriers does it matter in wich direction the carriers must? Or doesnt that matter the aircraft comes back where ever the carriers went to?
Please help me.

If I understand you correctly the carrier must be in to the wind and the total wind speed cannot exceed 50 Knots...(Wind and carrier speed)..Same with retrieving aircraft
