Playing DPRK side

Comunist serenity is broken again.:freak::freak::freak:

Capitan Piluso (A.K.A. 대장 Piluso ) receives an urgent call from
DPRK Headquarters ; the US has moved 7th Fleet to our neighborhood and
australians and UK ships may be closing too.
The imperialist destroyer John young has been reported near Chinhae.
In case you don´t know, this is a US base in South Korean territory
where imperialism hides and conspires against our country

Of course our Dear Lider will not tolerate this and will guide our brave ships
from his eternal abode to liberate our people from those invaders.

This time my OOB is:

1 SS Romeo
1 SSK Kilo
3 PTM Osa class (this armed with nice Styx A missiles and anti air
Strelas)

The task here is to find the destroyer and send it to the bottom
of the sea, and as soon the scen begins I supposse it may be near
the Chinhae base.
So I will head my subs North and detach a PTM from the former group
of three to head North with intermitent emissions. The other two
Osa will maintain restricted emcom, but I need to know whats going
on out there.
Soon the radar returns ten or twelve skunks, some merchants
and some fishing vessels, but I need time to find the damm destroyer.

As my ships keep on heading South, an alert from xRay warns me about
a sub contact near the Osa...oh I am lost..my subs are really far
and my ships will be an easy target.
But just when I was waiting for a secure ( and early) death the contact
is classified as a bio tuna...really a good news.

Some time later vampires from NW impact my two Osa group and sink them,
may be I would have splitted these but I paid for the error and now
only a PTM is nearing chianhe and the radar finally finds what I
was looking for;

Here is the blasted thing, let´s fire a pair of Styx on it to see
what happens, but no luck they are burned by some anti missile
system.
My last two Styx can not fail, I fire them and gladly impact on
the imperialist, my BDA shows "on fire" and I know it´s only
a matter of time now...an hour later I meet VC and our country
is liberated again.:smoke:

Thanks Herman for this scen, a short but intersting one.

Thanks for another interesting AAR. I think the SAM fire must have been very bad to have been hit by a pair of Styx. I would have thought you needed at least two surviving boats to sink the destroyer. Good shooting.

You are right, when I loose the two Osas thinked was finished, but in the end luck was by my side.
