Playing the AR side :
I am ordered to set amphib group into marked zone for 6 hours and use my TF to
search and destroy merchants supply UK ships.AR subs are in the area but
not available for data link.
Head amphib group at cruise speed to SE launching Alouette helo in a patrol
zone ahead of Amphib group (it´s dark and Alouette lack of sensors is no good).
Also set TF at creep speed cause was not too far from zone.
Decide to detach DD Hercules then and begin searching around
zone with radar in intermitent setting.Soon 2 SKUNKS appeared and one of them
greets me with a pair of Harpoons...it seems they adquired my ship and some seconds
later I feel the strike.
I try to fire at them but my Harpoons get really crazy and take the opposite heading :freak:
Now some ten vampires coming and my Sea Darts try
to engage them,but large fire has started..so I order my crew to abandon the ship
as quick as they can.
Two ESM air contacts appear but it´s not possible to identify them,probably Wasp helos,
they are far away from air weapons range and have nothing to do with it.
Detach my FL Granville to get those angry guys who sank Hercules and find HMS Brillant
some miles far, try to engage her but my weapons have not the necessay range
Other ships, DDG Segui an FFL Drummont are sinking now, and all I managed until now
is setting Amphib group into the marked zone, things are getting worse minute by minute.
Some time later my Amphib group is attacked by HMS Brillant and other two bandits,
all my efforts to resist were useless...RIP
Time to eveluate and think of a better tactic for the next time,South Atlantic
waters are so cold and don´t wan´t to sink again.:laugh:
