Does a BU armored vehicle bypassing a hex containing a HS that has laid down a Fire Lane break that Fire Lane?

A9.223 says: "A MG may cancel its Fire Lane in order to gain freedom to fire elsewhere...only if a TPBF situation occurs (A8.312) - in which case the Fire Lane must be cancelled."

I would assume that the tank creates a TPBF situation as per D7.2, and thus the Fire Lane is broken. The HS could then either try CCRF, or try a TH w/ the MG.

Can someone check my logic please? I'm on the last turn of a pbem scenario, I don't want to gack the rule.

I stand partially corrected.

From the tomb...
[EXC: an unarmored vehicle with no PRC; 7.212 or an armored vehicle with no Vulnerable PRC which does not end its MPh in the Location do not require cancellation],

So if the tank is just moving through, the FL does not get cancelled. If it end in the Location, it does.
