I am assuming a FT under concealment still applies the -1 DRM to it's
possessing MMC.

A stack containing a ?, 467, FT, 838, 8-0 in that order top to bottom
is in a woods hex.

I make a 16FP attack on the stack, which is halved to 8 for concealed target.
I roll an 8 on the Dice. The results are
PTC on 467 and 8-0, DR:(8 + 1 (woods) )= 9
NMC on 838, DR:(8+1(woods)-1(FT Vulnerability A22.4)=8

correct?

While I abhor "reality" arguments, how does the firer know there's a
FT in the concealed stack? It seems weird that the firer gets this benefit
when the FT is "not seen"?

Probably because a stray bullet into the petrol tanks is the same whether they know about it or not. Maybe?

Or simply cause the rules state so...
UXB was asking a question outside of the rules, I was simply answering. There is more to ASL than just rules.

The -1 is applied to the IFT DR vs the 838; so it's an 8FP (net +0) vs the 838, 8(+1) vs the 467 & 8-0. This results in a NMC vs the 838 & a PTC vs the 467 & 8-0.
