Hello All,

A Russian 4-4-7 has become locked in melee with a German 8-1 and 4-6-7.

The German squad possesses 2 Russian MMC Prisoners.

Next turn in the sequential CC involving the prisoners, do they attack alone (1-4 odds) or can they combine with the 4-4-7 (1-1 odds)?

It will make quite a difference as their CC DR is 4.

Thanks,

Raphael

They, and anyone who attacks with them attack first.
You will have a 1:1 attack with 6 versus 5 resolved prior to the German attack back, assuming this is melee.

[Assuming the 8-1 combines with the 467 (A11.14).] Remember that you could only attack the 8-1 & 467 once in a CCPh (A11.12, fifth sentence); you cannot attack with the 447 at 1-2 and also with both prisoners at 1-4. As @Vinnie wrote, you can attack at 1-1 before the German attack back, so if you rolled a 4, you eliminated the 8-1 & 467 without them getting a chance to attack you.
