Hi guys,

Just to be sure. I have a situation here, which though I know I should be able to understand, I'm not quite sure that I'm doing right.

Would WA EE3 negate WA to the Amis that arrive at CC3? I understand that they must share an hexside to negate the WA, so the yanks will gain WA. In that case, if the US units gain WA, EE3 would fire to them with a +2 TEM, the yanks will fire to EE2 with only the orchard hindrance, and EE2 would fire to the WA Amis with a +3 (hindrance+wall).

Am I right?

Thanks for the help!

OK, I'll take a stab at this.

First of all, the orchard hinderance will apply to ALL fire to and from EE2 / EE3 / CC3. Agreed?

And you are correct, you can't prevent the Americans from getting wall advantage because you are not adjacent to them...

And last, all shot vs CC3 will be +3 (2 for wall and one hinderance). Firing from CC3 to EE3 is +3 (same as above) and firing from CC3 to EE2 is only +1 for the hinderance.

At least, that's the way I'd play it.

Ok, Sam, I completely forgot the orchard hindrance for the other shot, and it should apply, of course.

I think I'm going to lose this one :OHNO:

Thanks for the quick reply! :)
