John,

I agree with you. But this is the Real World. Your customers are either too interested, or not interested at all.
I submit that I am a customer, and that neither the phrase "too interested" nor the phrase "not interested at all" describe my attitude toward MMP's release schedule. So yeah, I fall in between A and B.

Though I'll grant you, the phrase that does best describe my attitude is
"resigned". :( :D

Next few months i'd guess?

Gotta get all the images to a hexgrid, then change the appropriate hex numbers to white (PITA, btw, on such a large scale), send out for proofing (this is what we're in the middle of doing now).

Take proofing, mark up maps, send to Kurt to fix.

Import new images to hexgrid (fairly easy w/Quark). Proof in house to make sure the most eggregious (SP?) errors are resolved - we are not going to sweat every little LOS issue as stated in the past.

Send to Printer. Receive 59 color proofs and bluelines within two weeks. Approve them (after going over them again, so no issues ala board 42 hopefully).

Three weeks to print/deliver some what, 300,000+ maps to our warehouse.

Bill and ship.

You'll see VotG and J8 first, for sure.
