A million scenarios played?

In the entrenching thread while commenting on the complexity of the system I mentioned there has probably been a million scenarios played over the thirty five years ASL has been out. I was wondering if that was an exaggeration so crunched some numbers and it works out to 79 scenarios played a day worldwide. That seems reasonable to me. Congratulations to all who have contributed to this achievement!

In my experience it seems as if about 1/2 of the players record their games online anywhere and with SK players perhaps only 1 in 10 do so. Add to this fact that many games were played prior to ROAR & Scenario Archive and I would venture about 1/3rd again as many games were played and never recorded (SWAG only) if for the fact the hey-day of ASL was in the early-mid 90's with many players coming and going into/from the system at that time. If one adds in the SL plays as part of the system playings (many of the scenarios being effectively the same) any reasonable estimate would be fair game.
