Hi this question is about pinned MG TH. rules I've found regarding this are A 7.81 + D 5.4 and A 9.61

The first two rules seem to indicated that a MG (ordnance) can make a TH within its normal ranged even if pinned.

But if I read the last rule it seems to indicate the opposite by adding a line 'without any form of halved FP penalty'.

This left me a bid confused and I'm probably missing something. What am I missing here?

Pirke.

There is some question in the ASLRB if a vehicular MA MG is subject to the A9.61 (halved MG cannot make TK attempts) restriction. There is no question about SW MG, and non-MA vehicular MG are right out even at full firepower.

A7.81 and C5.4 don't allow you to make a TH attack with a pinned MG, they describe the penalties to TH attacks by pinned firers (for instance a Gun crew or Mortar). The attack must still be otherwise legal though.
