The 7th Annual Hallowed Ground ASL Tournament will be held starting Thursday, July 18th and conclude Sunday morning, July 21st.
This tournament, initially started by John Dober and graciously continued by his widow, Christine Fallin Dober, is held annually every July at their residence in Gettysburg.
There is limited rooming available at Christine's home with preference to past attendees as well as a bed and breakfast and the 1863 hotel right next door. There are also various hotels in and around Gettysburg within a few minutes' drive. The are many options for food and drink within walking distance, battlefield tours, and souvenir and curiosity shops.
It is my honor to officiate this tournament in memory of our dear friend John and hope to see all the familiar faces as well as any new ones. John and Christine's home boasts a large game room with great lighting in a comfortable setting. There will be extra counter sets and maps, for those traveling light, copies of the scenarios per round, and copies of any special rules (ex. TOTR, HazMo, SF) available for ease of play. I have attached the scenario list by round for those who wish to brush up, and the rules and regulations for the tourney. Any questions or inquiries can be directed to me or Ed Akehurst via Facebook or Gamesquad.
Hope to see you there. Dave
