I like this idea. It would definitely help prevent ahistorical player behaviour.

A very enjoyable and well-written AAR, Purist. I am glad to see that a bold counterattack strategy paid off. And what a see-saw battle it turned out to be!

The objectives idea Palantir brought up is a compelling one, and as long as everyone agreed to having a moderator review the end of battle and determine victory, this would yield very compelling game play. I also like the idea of double-blind objectives.
