30th Edition of the Texas Team Tourney, June 13-16, 2024, Austin, TX

I'm here to announce that we are ON for the 2024 edition of the Texas Team Tournament. After the disappointment with our old venue last year that ultimately led to us having to cancel last years' event. I'm pleased to say we have a new home at a newer, nicer hotel with a great event space and plenty of restaurants close by. Even though the venue might have changed, we are still the same old tournament we have always been, with all of the same events and laid back, fun times that have made us who we are as tournament for all these years. Our brand new hotel for this edition of the tourney is the Courtyard by Marriott - Austin Northwest/Lakeline and a group rate for our room block that can be booked through our website, Texas ASL in addition to pre-registering. Make those plans to attend and join us in playing a lot of ASL. Remember that ours is an open tournament, so come play what you want, how much you want, with whom you want. Feel like trying that monster scenario? Here's your chance to immerse yourself in it for up to 4 days straight if you can handle it.

You can pre-register through our website, Texas ASL. Pre-registering gives you access to a lot of great swag that I provide to those folks. Note that the preregistration window closes on May 30, 2024, and the first dice hit the cups in just a few short weeks after that on June 13 through June 16. Speaking of the hotel, remember we are at a newer, nicer venue this year, so make sure to check it out on the website. We are constantly updating that information leading up to the start of the tournament, so make sure to check in regularly for all the latest. Note that the last day to get our great hotel rate is June 1st, so don’t delay! We’ve provided links to the room block on the tourney webpages. And while you are checking out the website, make sure to preregister; you never know what goodies I will come up with for those doing so.

For folks who might have tried to book a room for the tourney through our room block and had an issue with availability, please give it a try again. We'd run out of rooms in the original room block (a good problem to have, I suppose) and I have gotten with the hotel to double size of the room block. So give it a shot again. If you run into any issues, please make sure to reach out to me asap so I can get it resolved.

I will be there early evening. Traveling with wife, so we will hit one of our favorites in Schertz on the way (Pasha's Grill). I love the lamb on a spit. I am good for something starting areound 7ish, if you have something on yopur playlist you wanna knock out, I am game. No need to go back to Tulagi though !
