Have been looking thru manual but can not seem to work out;

1/ Will it make a difference in opposition units taken out if you fire one unit at a time from a stack as opposed to firing all units from the stack at once?
I realise firing one at a time will draw more defensive fire to you.

2/ When you fire from a whole stack if say one of the 3 units is disrupted will it cause all units to fire at 50% effectiveness?
(similar to meleeing with units of A and C quality all will melee at the lowest quality unit, therefore often best to not mix in this way).

Thanks

Just the aspect you note, drawing more defensive fire. I usualy fire in stacks when ever possible.

No, the calculations are handled seperately and then applied at once.
