The latest patch just came out.
Same here. Kudos to SES for working hard though, I'm sure they'll resolve things in a jiffy.Just sent several bug reports.![]()
I tried a few more tests as the British. Apparently it's crashing with them too, just not as repeatable as with the Germans.Yeah it crashed on me too when campaign battle started and it kept saying U27 struck a mine over and over again until it crashed out. I thought maybe the saved campaign from 1.007 was incompatible with 1.008 so I started a new campaign. My first battle went through no problems and the HSF sunk the entire Harwich Force. But later when the Scouting Force encountered a brit sub and started a battle for some reason, it then crashed when I moved the mouse.
It's compatible with previous saves, but even in a save every time a campaign battle is started it crashes.Version 1.008
Well nice to see the rearm issue fixed but, when a battle starts from my campaign the game just hangs! I had to control alt-delete and kill the process.
I ran a standalone scenario it ran fine, I wonder if 1.008 is compatible with previous save games?
Thanks all for the heads-up. Sounds like I'll need to pass on this update :OHNO:It's compatible with previous saves, but even in a save every time a campaign battle is started it crashes.
That explains why the crashes were 100% from the German side and only about 50%-50% on the British.:hmmm:
Hmm...I've tried some more runs of the game with 1.008 and as far as I can tell it only crashes when you start a battle with a ship that is out on area patrol. So as the Germans it is almost impossible to play right now because you always encouter Brit DD's and Subs on area patrol. Very frustrating when it was playing so well under 1.007 with no crashes at all.
Oh common, that´s one of the Kaisers nuclear powered submarines with admantium armour. Of course tiny 15cm shells can´t harm it. Just stay clear of its death ray!Now that's something new.
Not to mention that right clicking on it resulted in a never ending camera zoom cycle.
