I know! I rediscovered their albums a few days ago so I've been playing them a lot. Great group and Irene has an amazing voice. Sadly, it seems they haven't put anything new out for sometime (at least, from what I can see in my brief interwebs searches).

I watched someone I know play this game and Angry Joe totally nails it. It's a gorgeous, well produced game and in all honesty, after watching someone play it, it would have been better as a mini-series or something and just leave out the gameplay.

The Day of Battle: The War in Sicily and Italy, 1943-1944 by Rick Atkinson covers the American part of the fighting in Italy up to the capture of Rome. A very good book however, I was a bit disappointed it didn't cover the rest of the fighting in northern Italy.

Agreed on all accounts. On the scene with the two women I began wondering how it would end and when the artillery began dropping I knew why it ever happened in the first place *sigh*. But the two main battle scenes with the tiger and dug-in German infantry were the highlights of the films to me...
