I have played J228- Flying Samurai and J233 - Roff Riders once each. Found them fairly balanced, as much one playing can indicate. Japanese won J228, J233 came down to last turn CC. The limit of two THH, -2 for THH ATMM attack and Aussie HTH option are all advantages to Aussies. Rich

Yes, H4 is adjacent to H3L1, but my question is "is the LOS from H3L1 to H5 open" or is it blocked as it leaves the road depiction?

My question is not about the gap in the wall, but whether a shot through H4 orchard hex is allowed because it leaves the road depiction.

I have a second question about that illustration which occurred in a game this week. Since the road ends in H4, can you shoot from H3L1 through H4 as LOS actually leaves road depiction in H4? Thanks, Rich

It is calculated as if there was no bore sighting at all. The non-bore site squad negates any bore sighting -2 in a fire group.

In my first tourney game - Men of the Mountains. Last turn, I drove my tankette to a road hex and stopped. A mobile AFV in road was a VC for Ities. My partisan opponent moved a HS into the hex, braving the 2 FP BMG, then rolled a "3" to immobilize it. Still remember 20+ years later. Rich
