Could Paulus have disengaged on 11-10-42?

I read a book when I was young called Chicken Hawk (I think) about choppers in Vietnam. That was all I needed to know....no way was I going aviation!!!

Could Paulus have disengaged on 11-10-42?

When we left whatever shitty FOB we were on at the end we flew out on Chinooks to Anaconda. Sand bagged bunker on the ramp sporting MGs and MGs on the sides. I didn't look closely and assumed they were 240s. I had no idea you guys were packing that kind of fire power.

Could Paulus have disengaged on 11-10-42?

The standard load for a pouge is 210. I kept over 20 at my station and fired over 15 twice....luxury of Mech. Ammo conservation? Fire disciple? I don't even know the meaning! :)

Then the 60 and 81mm mortar rounds. Oh and the AT4 or Javalin. Bazooka rounds back in the day I imagine. Yeah too much work for me. I still think the 6th Army could have made it behind the river!

Which is just one more reason to be a tanker rather than a filthy grunt.

Dividing your forces.... ever a good idea?

I've only played one monster so this has been my experience as well. Every time I've split my attack force to get tricky I've lost. Every time.

Another option is to bitch about the less than perfect (while using it and loving it) soft cover RB while waiting for v3.0 of the rules. I chose this option! :p

Don't misunderstand I bought it immediately and haven't used the full rule book since.

It wouldn't take two years. Insert the errata. Reformat so pics fit right. Update the page numbers and page number references. Print.

What does that have to do with the decision to go ahead and print without the errata included?

That's crap. Look at all the online live rules. Do you complain about OCS games coming with version 3 or 4 of the system rules? Of course not you go online and print the latest. (4.1? 4.2?) No one would complain if the errata was added. No one. It should have been. There really isn't any excuse...
