I dug up the consolidated reports as well as the old testing versions.
Admittedly I am a little perplexed by what happened between the end of testing and the final version.
Regardless, 100% my responsibility and my fault.
Although worded differently, essentially E3.742 is in effect but not...
The Winter Weather article discusses Snow and its variations and is a great primer for jumping into those types of MC scenarios.
The ASLRB does jump around a bit on some of that stuff but makes sense in that Chapter E is "optional" per se but the EC Chart is ubiquitous so is going to have Snow.
Interestingly both tanks could have the CMG coupled to MA or not. If not coupled it is just a ball mount LMG so the counter represents the CMG coupled to the MA.
There is no actual reason for the BMG to have 4FP so I would assume it was simply a design for effect decided on many years ago.
The cut off is whatever the Fire Truck I want it to be 🤣
Allied Minors and French are in both. However, GS-1 is more Allied Minor heavy while GS-2 is more French heavy by comparison.
A lot has to do with variability, board use, etc, etc.
Progressing tremendously.
Even after having moved some scenarios to GS-2 we currently still have 40 scenarios in the mix for GS-1. There are still more actions that have not been fully developed that could be added. Not all of these 40 will make the cut. So I have no idea what the final number...
Robin,
Thank you for the very kind words.
Some notes:
-If there is no Special Rule stating Roads are Plowed, then they are not Plowed. The Snow rules activations do not make Roads Plowed.
-I highly recommend using the Winter Weather Play Aid anytime you are playing a Snow scenario. Very easy...
Credit where credit is due. During playtesting Steve Tinsley recommended I look at adjusting the MISSION to something like what ended up getting published.
Cant set up on Hill
Cant set up in building
Was only #1 with the intent that #2 inherently applied. However, was argued during testing that #2 needed to be added for "clarification".
I gave in. Usually I dont as "clarifications" add other questions.
Interestingly, after the German breakthrough in May 1940 the Dutch wanted to flood and defend the "polder areas" but the French did not want to and opted to defend more "traditionally".
