    In my understanding and experience, D&D rules are intentionally open to interpretation by the DM and players because it's role playing and storytelling, not a legal brief.

    I like the historical sweep and specificity of HASL scenarios. I would like to play more HASL CGs, but time and complexity conspire against that. I am playing around an idea of how an "SK CG" might work, to allow faster play while retaining the multi-day strategy aspect of a CG.
