    Multi-Computer

What @DougRim says is what I do all the time to check what any opponent can see. It is a final step before declaring my setup complete.

    PFZ Counters

It doesn't need to, however, you would want to cover woods in the hex completely so that it was clear there are no woods in the hex at all (if you are using a DO instead of the counter). That is why the first iteration of the overlay includes the open ground portion to the hexsides.

    PFZ Counters

It does not need the non-transparent base although they are inherent terrain so leaving the edges untouched is a problem. What I am most concerned about are roads and gullies where you will want to see them for potential LOS issues. I can easily modify the DO version to cut off the hexside...

    PFZ Counters

Sort of. For me the biggest issue are the B36.23, B35.3, B36.4 and B36.5 rules where you should be able to see the underlying terrain that still exists. A DO ends up potentially covering it up. In my latest extension (v5.5 is not available for download yet) I added two PFZ overlays. The...

    VASL-6.7.0-beta3 is released

It is not about you specifying a font, it is about the system rendering in the font specified. Are there others using a Mac OS? What font is being rendered? The easiest way to tell is by looking at a "1" and see if it has the horizontal line on the bottom of the character. You can plainly...

    VASL-6.7.0-beta3 is released

It appears to me that Michael R’s font is rendered as Times. @Michael R do you use my DYO Extension? If so, do your squad values for the engineers or SS units render in Times as well?

    GMD & CPVA concealment

After some thought, I think it could be done relatively easily. create a new division in the Chinese Sq/HS trays to delineate the different counters. create a new xxINF prototype that swaps the Chinese concealment trait for the Russian concealment trait. Duplicate the existing Chinese counters...

Who are these guys and where did they come from?

Their physical equivalent is the Chinese conscript counter. VASL has it. The unknown counter was made, I suspect, to allow for a counter that conceals as a Japanese counter even though its outside edge is Russian. In VASL, you can not replicate the ability to put any color concealment counter...

Who are these guys and where did they come from?

I would think that from a VASL standpoint it would be better to make them two-tone color, with the Chinese blue in the middle and Japanese yellow on the outside, concealing with Japanese "?" counters. JMO

Who are these guys and where did they come from?

From BRT (my emphasis): CG12 KOREAN LABOR UNITS: The Korean labor units stationed on Betio are represented by Chinese 3-3-6 counters. Neither G1. nor G18. apply. Korean labor units treat Japanese SW as captured (A21.11-.12), but Japanese Leaders do not have their leadership reduced for directing...

    British (Commonwealth) Assault Engineers

If you are so inclined, you can find my version of the Combat Engineer (CE) squad in my DYO Campaign extension. The rules I came up with are my own, so you could change as desired for your scenario design. The diagram depicts the BH/ELR sequences that the counters have programmed. COMBAT...

    GMD & CPVA concealment

I think the issue is you have to pick one or the other, or else re-write concealment code to allow someone to pick between the options, which means you would most likely have to pick for each unit or add even more complex code. I will let @DougRim chime in about the issues with dealing with...

    GMD & CPVA concealment

For the GMD, I would not make the assumption regarding using Russian colored "?" given they came with their own two-toned "?" counters.

    GMD & CPVA concealment

So, not a bug but by design. For the GMD, are there mixed Russian/GMD scenarios? I am not sure. For the CPVA i don't have a clue as I don't have that module.

Draggable Overlays N Hex from Centre Request

I use the HCM extension's perimeter markers ALL the time. They are very flexible. The only objective I have in mind is to extend the existing n-hex radius draggable overlays to include larger radius options. That effort allows for certain additional options, such as solid/dashed lines and...

Draggable Overlays N Hex from Centre Request

The hideable control marker extension has some good things in it as well, just slightly different. The perimeter markers are much thicker for one thing. In addition, the area markers fill in (below) although they have multiple opacity settings, and are limited to 6 hex radius as well. the...

Draggable Overlays N Hex from Centre Request

I thought I had made it clear that the lines will be both solid and dashed (and multi-colored). I will look into even thinner lines, but I am not convinced they will be visible enough. In addition, the dashes can be modified as well (i.e., longer, shorter, space between them).

Draggable Overlays N Hex from Centre Request

I agree with the consensus regarding the thinner line. I also have taken interest in the project, so will continue to work something out, although timing of s release will be sometime this summer I think given my other commitments. That being said, below is a comparison of an old version...
