Operation Barbarossa, Wiking Recon in Force

No AAR posted, it is hard enough for me to squeeze out playing time right now, no time for writing AARs. Maybe if things settle down when the kids start back to school in September.

A8.26 EFFECT OF DRM (on residual)

A8.25 last sentence "Neither Intensive Fire (C5.6), AP-type ammo, nor Pf/PFK leaves Residual FP. So no resid left at all.

    Vehicle movement and "Known Targets"

Well their MPh ended with no units in their NVR and out of the British NVR as well so no action yet. Since, as Scott mentioned, A4c has some commands with "Known Target" and others as just "Target", if next MPh they roll a command with "Known Target", I'll let them wander into the village...

    Vehicle movement and "Known Targets"

My current SASL company of Ulster Rifles is conducting Mission#18 Bridgehead at night. The Germans rolled up an RE giving them some Assault guns. On the second MPh they rolled a 5 which has them continuing down the road toward the FBE "Stop when Known Target exists". Since all my units are...

Operation Barbarossa, Wiking Recon in Force

Don - Really enjoying your descriptions. My own campaign using a British Rifle Company has now made it all the way to Holland in 1944. One question - how were you able to add the Russian Generation Table to your VASL game? I have the scenario table from ASL players.net but can't figure out how...

What are the Effects of "Moist" EC

The way I read it, the road depicted on board 39 is the only road in the scenario. SSR 1 states that PTO Terrain (G.1) is in effect. This means no roads exist. The rest of the SSR then states that the road on board 39 and the bridge in 39P9 do exist, so that single road on board 39 is the only...

VASL PBEM - Looking to get back into it

Looking to pickup a PBEM game. Played in the past, but only SASL last two years. Have almost all official modules and lots of TPP. Prefer ETO having only played 1 or 2 DTO/PTO or night scenarios. Can manage a 3-4 logs/week pace.

Did AFV crews ever go Berserk?

Assistant Driver: Must fire BMG at closest target. All such fire is treated as sustained fire (A9.3) despite being a vehicular MG.

    Routing question (again)

I think your answer is further in A10.51 "As long as it reaches that hex during a single RtPh, it need not use the shortest route,". In your case moving to the side means you can't reach the rout destination during a single RtPh so is not allowed. I'm pretty sure they surrender.
