    ASL Scandinavian Open 2024, February 28 - March 3 2024

If conscripts could eat and sleep this well, they would be happy indeed. Food has always been very good when I've been attending, the private rooms are fine, the beds are soft and the gaming area is spacious, well aired and well lit. But the hosts and the organising is why you really should go...

ASL Scandinavian Open, March 1-5 2023

Thank you Bo and Michael for yet another very well organized Scandinavian Open. I always enjoy comming to Copenhagen this time of year to meet old and new friends and play some good games. You pick out very good scenarios, and the balance is good, making even the bidding process enjoyable. And...

Albany AAR Part 1 Scythe and Chateau

Nice AAR. But are you sure the last tank couldn´t pass by your PzIV. D14.22 (GAPS) states: «If an AFV is destroyed, Recalled, uses non-platoon movement (14.23) or becomes Immobile, it is no longer considered part of the platoon.» And the last sentence says: «If only one AFV is remaining, it is...

    CC recapture of abandoned Tank

Thank you Bill. The full Q&A is helpful. Where do I find it? It is not in Klas compilation, but he had it, and posted in on another forum where we have a discussion on the same issue. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2565782/when-enter-abandoned-afv I do agree that the intent seems to be that...

    CC recapture of abandoned Tank

Hi Bill I saw that minor contradiction, and I also see the different meanings. I am also quite clear this is also only a game - an abstraction - and not real life :-) As such it might be an option that rule A21.2 is less than perfectly worded.... I certainly do not find that Q&A A21.2 &...

    CC recapture of abandoned Tank

This came up in at scenario we currently play (DTF 15 Storming Lommel) where the brits set up two abandoned AFVs in road locations with the crews in buildings. If the crews can move or advance out into the road, and recrew them in the CCPh, the AFV come into play almost a full turn earlier...

    Scandinavian Open 2022 (March 4-6 2022) - 25th Edition

I really like your scenario selection. I have played a few and more are already on my want-to-play-list. I plan to attend this year. Your tournament is always well-organized and a pleasure to attend. Looking foreward to march 4th See you in Copenhagen :-) Olav

    AAMG and CA DRM

Ok, Arnaud, I stand corrected. My interpretation of adding CA DRM (in our case NT) to the AAMG arose from D5.11 saying "Should they elect to pivot their vehicular counter instead so as to change their VCA, the NT To Hit DRM apply to the first shot of all vehicular weapons" - and the AAMG...

    Orchard and Continuous Slopes (B.5)

B.5 reads "CONTINUOUS SLOPE: A Continuous Slope is a change in elevation such that, in each hex successively crossed by the LOS, the elevation changes by one level in a continuous gradient. All rules pertaining to same-level LOS also apply to Continuous Slope LOS [EXC: walls/hedges and AFV/wreck...
