I don't laminate my boards, but I as I understand it, you need to cut them in half before laminating. Otherwise, you will not be able to match half of one board to half of another.

    Sox and Yanks

. For the record, it is 6 in the last 100 years, 7 overall, which I believe is 3rd most in MLB history behind NY and STL. Red Sox nation has NOTHING to do with ESPN. It was a term coined by Dan Shaughnessy of the Boston Globe sometime during the 80's, that Sox ownership turned into an...

    Sox and Yanks

Before 2004? Come on, you gotta explain that. Or is it irrational hatred!? Salary caps...hate 'em. I know it helps competitive balance, but parity can be boring. There is something more...i don't know..."romantic"...about having the perrienial powerhouses and the little teams that could...

    Sox and Yanks

And big ups to Youk tonight for keeping his cool tonight and not shoving his bat up Justin's ass after he nearly decapitated him with a fastball at his head. Granted, Justin would of been a fool to be throwing at him in a 1-0 game, but admit it, something don't quite look right with that boy...

    Poll: what will happen first?

I voted for AOO. I figure that Curt's laying around and having to keep of his feet, after having surgery on his ankle, he'll be looking for a way to occupy his mind! A World Series championship for my beloved Red Sox, and AOO by XMAS...sweet! :D

AT guns and how it works form a newbie

ASL14 Silence That Gun...0-3 playing this old classic. Your correct on the H6 & s7. This Gun can also fire AP and HE, as the "75" on the counter is not underscored or overscored. See C2.21. Yes, a THDR is necessary. Area Fire Target Type (ATT) can be used when firing HE, but you do...

    Anything besides ASL?

ASL and Up Front get practically dailey attention and play. I don't feel I have the time to get into anything else, in depth. Medal of Honor grabbed my interest for a bit last winter, but the novelty of shooting stuff up on the PC wears off after a while.

    Corner clipping - why?

I clipped mine after playing with the sets of others that were clipped. I liked the look and feel of the clipped counters. It took a long time, but all the basic modules, and RB, and KGP I got clippped. Everything else, I've clipped only on a need to use it basis.

    Ch G

Which of these rules sections have you played with? Ch G, seems to be the "frontier" of the ASLRB. Some have ventured al the way to "seaborne assaults", while others stopped before "caves" or even "panji's". I have played with caves once, and that wasn't even PTO. (SoN) Rice Paddies, once...

What rules do you have the hardest time grasping?

Ah,yes, the "rules lawyer" debates. The problem with those, is that it tends to degenerate into a pissing contest as the lawyers argue for the sake of debate. Some people enjoy that, though I suspect most do not. For me it depends on my mood, personal stake in the question being...

What rules do you have the hardest time grasping?

IMHO, I'd say it's more that most ASLers have never or very little played with caves, cave complexes, landing craft, beaches, seaborne assaults, panji's, rice paddies, hillocks, and desert in general. All those rules present a certain level of difficulty that requires keeping a RB handy and...

ROAR - scenario balance - etc.

I take ROAR for just what it is...A W/L record. If the record is favoring one side or the other, that may make me want to look at the scenario and investigate further as to why. The W/L record is a tool to help checking out scenarios. I don't use ROAR thinking it's going to show me balance or...
