David Goldman is a thoroughly enjoyable opponent who deserved a better fate. His late-war SS failed to take enough buildings away from my Russians in DB185 Pipkorn's Attempt. (It's been entered at vasleague.de) Good luck next round!

David, thanks for running a fun tourney and providing excellent sightseeing opportunities. Would return in a heartbeat!

Darren, whatever you're doing, keep doing it. No way I would have finished 3rd if you'd been there.

John Lehman's defending Germans held off my THREE human waves (in one turn!) in OA15 Shattering the Line. While I made great progress, I ran out of exitable VP when his lucky ATG burned two T34's and immobilized another. Still a lot of fun, and I always enjoy playing John, no matter who loses.

David Rosner's Canadians conceded in the top of the 5th to Steve Knippel's Germans in 105 Going to Church. Always a little dicey, my luck was better than his. But after my guys survived a second turn of Prep fire from his two kill stacks, time had run out. No dilly-dallying allowed. Thanks...

VASLeague and CyberVASL already do. I don't know if there are other non-COVID online-only tournaments. Regarding the treatment of forfeits, I plan to enter CASLO XXV forfeits as wins/losses at http://asl-ratings.org but NOT enter them in ROAR.

In the US/CAN-Central/West division (or whatever it's called), my Tigers defeated Eben Johnson's mixed US paratroopers/infantry in U30 Swatting at Tigers (an old SL classic) in the bottom of the 5th inning. I had managed to squeak six squad-equivalents onto the north edge of board 2 before...

I remember when that guy in St. Louis - I wish I could remember his name - collected all the reported playings for the General magazine (I think). Me and my roommates reported our very in-house SL playings. I even met him when one roommate and I went to Cleveland and Hunt Valley in the early...

Here’s what you really want to know, the matchups for Round 3… MP12 “A Worthy Adversary” is the favourite - it has 6 matchups: Paul Chamberland’s Germans attacking Rich Domovic’s Russians Michael Rodgers’ Germans attacking Andre Escobedo’s Russians Kalle Widell’s Germans attacking Francois...

    2021 Canadian ASL Open

Absolutely! We just need 4 players for each instance of a mini.

    2021 Canadian ASL Open

You won't. Because the minis are all 4-person round-robins, I'm trying to get everybody's 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. preferences, and a sense of how flexible they might be. Feel free to email or call me to discuss if you like. TD Steve

    2021 Canadian ASL Open

Yes, round 2 needs to wrap up first, as a loss in either of the first two rounds entitles the players to join one of the minis.
