Three years after buying BV, I finally decided to purchase Yanks. Got my copy and a Rat Chart from Ritter Kreig. Trying to decide which module to purchase next. It will either be For King and Country or Hollow Legions.
Pierce was my very first VASL opponent! Unfortunately, I had to leave the world of ASL behind due to several health and family issues. I'll keep you in my prayers, good sir. Hope we can play some ASL in the future when we're both at 100%.
Really appreciate this, thanks. I'm going through Chapter K right now and I love it. I will check out Jim Stahler's guide as well. My plan of attack is to master the infantry portion of the game (the part I'm most interested in) before delving into guns and vehicles.
Also, if you find that...
I was thinking about it, but I found there are plenty of ASL resources available for learning the full game already. I've found the YouTube tutorials created by Neil Ulen, Russ Gifford, and ijester especially helpful.
Haha, ASL is quite cheap compared to some of the miniature games I've played. I know people that have spent way more on a single army than the cost of all the ASL core modules combined. Those guys are nuts! Thanks for the warm welcome!
Hey everyone! I've been an avid board gamer for 20+ years and have finally decided to take the plunge on ASL. Just bought the rulebook and Beyond Valor. Really pumped to learn how to play!
