    Germany 1985: An MBX failure

The umpire is IMHO the guy that ***really*** has to think ahead in a MBX (and needs co-umpires). When looking at global thunder I understand Riki only lately (2 yrs later) has taken up TacOps playing again, it can be overwhelming. This might be allright as long as youre rewarded with exciting...

AAR impromptu 1:1 netgame JAN 22th

AAR impromptu 1:1 netgame JAN 4th I had two quick impromptu netgames with one Mike who got the notice of one of the forums and wanted to give net game a try. We played team Hall twice, I was red both times. We had three observers (Mr Mox, John Monahan and Frederik Scheuer) and all went well...

    Units Transiting Bridges

In a recent CPX (VORTEX, aar + replays see http://www.xtreme-gamer.com/forums/tacops-after-action-reports/62854-vortex-cpx-after-action-reviews.html ) we as RED had real problems especially as the bridges were combined with mines in front or behind sometimes to the point where the rollout of the...

My first AAR - Task Force Harper

only now stumbled over that one, excellent AAR and could be an example for many to learn from! Think about posting stuff like this to the TacOps list also in the future, there are many guys there who will be delighted to see stuff like that. GJ! Feliz Año Nuevo, todos! Rattler

    Vortex CPX after action reviews

Cuba S2 and Arty CO AAR VORTEX CPX (long) This is the RED S2 and RED Arty Commander AAR for the VORTEX CPX, run by Jeff Gilbert DEC 16th, 2006. It will be fairly detailed and long as we have had newbies on the team as well as on the list recently and as this CPX was a great example for...

    Team Murray

good AAR! My take on the scenario is that Blue can well win, but will have to do some good and careful recon first and then to act on the findings (e.g. with eventual air or arty in supressive role). The trick is to use the whole time the orders allwo for completing the mission.

SAR CPX, OCT 8th 2005, Players AARs

BLUE 2nd platoon cmdr AAR A few words from me as CO of the 2nd Platoon of the Blue forces. I got the WO in turn 11 and the pilot a few turns later into helicopters and on the way back. I stumbled upon them very early, but luck is probably part of every good plan :-) >From my point of...

SAR CPX, OCT 8th 2005, Players AARs

BLUE 3rd pln AAR (Peter Gower) This was the best CPX I have participated in. It started promptly (for a CPX) and got finished the same day. Rattler served up another interesting scenario. But most of all it was fun. CPX 051008 - AAR BLUE 3rd platoon US Custom Scenario USMC, map 260...

SAR CPX, OCT 8th 2005, Players AARs

RED 1st Coy AAR (Ralf Pichocki) As there have been quite some players and lurkers, I'll try to keep my AAR short ;-) Task: RED had one reinforced BTR Bn and was roughly tasked to take hold of, keep open and then destroy three bridges in the middle of the map, 6-10 km from their...

SAR CPX, OCT 8th 2005, Players AARs

BLUE CO AAR (Chaim Krause) As BLUE CO my main task was to insure that the Blue players had fun. You'll have to ask them if that mission was accomplished. My first question was why Blue was sending in such a huge force for a SAR mission. So, I went on the assumption that this was just to...
