The 3rd dice decides the level of acquisition for that shot. 1-3 no acquisition, 4-5 is -1 acquisition and 6 is -2 acq. If I'm not mistaken this 3rd dice roll is made for every shot and so the acq. by the same firer vs the same target over multiple fire phases would go up and down like a yo-yo.

It could become intuitive with a little practice. When I was designing the Iwo CG, the American 60mm mortars would be used to fire Smoke over the front line to obscure the Japanese LOS. After several CG dates there were up to 30 of the mortars being used. I was seriously tempted to write into...

It is a very original scenario which captures the flavour of Prokhorovka very well. Maybe it will be revisited.

Computers are good at playing chess because chess is principally a game of calculation. If a computer was powerful enough to play ASL do you think it could be good at it? Is ASL also a game of calculation or does some sort of artistic or intuitive skill come into it?

I like Clash At Ponyri too. Plus Flying Turrets and Clash Along The Psel and scenarios from Advancing Fire's Prokhorovka module. The big scenarios from CH's Hell's Bridgehead always caught my eye.
