A26.111 consequences of MOL attack if MOL Availability failed

I would look at it as MOL attempt vs. MOL attack. Consequences would only be with the "attack".

    ASLOK XXXVIII - October 6th thru 13th, 2024

ALSO: Note that the ASLOK picnic is Sunday afternoon and evening, October 6th, so if you are arriving at Hopkins airport during that time, you can always get a ride to the Bertram through picnic goers when they return. The airport is only a few minutes from the picnic and we can arrange to get...

    AP206 Jungle Rats

Just finished playing Jungle Rats with Kevin Killeen. For those looking at playing time, of course the defense was set up previously, this took a scant 3 hours. I had the Japs on defense with Kev attacking with the Brits. With the errata set up and entry, (i.e. the Brits entry all/some turn 1...

Who the hell comes up with the time to play a scenario on this site?

AS a TD and as a player, I don't look at formula times of play. I strictly go by how long it takes myself and someone like Kevin Killeen to play. A prime example would be AP205 A Kick In the Teeth which we played today. Although, I set the defense beforehand, we played all 5.5 turns in just...

    St Louis JULY 2024

Well, another St Louis tourney is in the books. As always, I had a great time. Tom and I arrived early evening Wednesday evening and many old friends were already arriving. I got in all five rounds going 3-2 against some monster opponents. In the first round, I got to play my razorback...

    St Louis JULY 2024

I may have lost the last round scenario to Stan, but it was one of the most fun ones I played. His victory in this one was well earned.

7th Annual Hallowed Ground 2024, Gettysburg, PA, July 18th thru 21st

Well the 7th annual hallowed ground ASL tournament is in the books. Ken Daughty and I arrived Wednesday night and got in a playtest. Others started milling in around dinner time. Chris Schultz prepared a summer feast on the grill and we settled in for the usual socializing. Ken Mioduski...

    ASL Bell Tolls

I had a great time at one of the ASL Opens in Chicago with Curtis when he went deep in the rounds. I nicknamed him "Buzzsaw" Brooks for his deep run against top quality opponents and it stuck in the tourney circles. Great player and friend. He will be missed.

7th Annual Hallowed Ground 2024, Gettysburg, PA, July 18th thru 21st

Gary, assume the answer is a yes for now and I will confirm later today (7/10) by 5pm. Come on up! I don't know about anyone else but Ken, Ed and I will be staying at the house as well as my "front" room will be shared by Ken Daughty. Other than you, I can think of at least 2 others who...

7th Annual Hallowed Ground 2024, Gettysburg, PA, July 18th thru 21st

Big ASL shoutout to Chuck Hammond and HazMo Publishing for providing 2 fantastic prizes to be awarded at the tourney. As you can see from the scenario list, there is one HazMo scenario listed in each round, so the first prize will go to the player who records the most HazMo playings during the...

    Adjacent to Road Clarification

I thought that A5 was always considered the road hex. I thought, i.e. know, that I read that somewhere. However, it may have been an SSR and not necessarily in the rule book.

    Mines, rubble, building question

Actually, Jim, most of the newer scenarios that use building hex control for VC purposes, do count a possible rubble of an eligible VC building as a building (some as rally terrain, for ambush, and street fighting capability, and VC purposes). However, this is usually by SSR or a special rule...
