Just ran through the to torials. Tech, production and diplomacy much different, graphics more polished, combat simpler. Very large manual.

Yeah, save $20 and d/l 1.06c and the CORE mod. That and a better manual is all the Platinum is.

I hate for my first post to be a downer but people who pre-ordered Harpoon 4 from Amazon.com received at e-mail saying the game was cancelled. Hardly a surprise given the change- over in design teams and Ubisoft's ambiguious support of wargames. Never fear! We still have Harpoon Classic...
