VP value of non-Prisoner Unarmed Units

If VC require a certain number of VP to be collected, these are often based on the CVP value of a given unit, i.e. 2VP for a squad, 2VP for a 9-1 leader, 5 VP for a halftrack (1 VP vehicle, 1 VP MA, 2 VP crew, 1 VP armor).

There is a Q&A that states the following:

A26.211 & A26.23 - Do non-prisoner Unarmed Units count for Exit VP?

Yes.


With regard to this, I would conclude that non-prisoner Unarmed Units would also count for non-Exit VP (i.e. should the VC require "10 friendly VP surviving" for example).

Is that assumption correct?

I would think yes, just as I play that unarmed MMC can capture buildings.

So be careful setting prisoners loose near game end.
