Tom Morin takes the title for the home team. Tom won YASL7 Making a Break For It as the British against Rich Domovic. Simultaneously, Vic Rosso, playing spoiler, defeated Nate Stapf in J146 Ragnarok as the Russians.

Final Standings:
Special thanks to Ralph MacDonald, who prepared all the VASL setups ahead of time and saved players a great deal of time by doing so and Larry Flaherty, our floating “Player per Diem”. His flexibility gave us an odd man in, to avoid an odd man out. Larry never ended up dropping a die all weekend but was available if needed and this helped the TD with considerable added flexibility.

(Note: Last Undefeated Wins the tourney, and the three last undefeated rank 1-3 this year)

First Place: 4-0 Tom Morin

Second Place: 4-1 Rich Domovic

Third Place 3-2 Nate Stapf

Remainder of the field

4-1 Richard Vieira

3-1 Steve Anderson

3-1 Paul Shaeffer

3-2 Vic Rosso

3-2 Paul Chamberland

3-2 Mike “Pooch” Puccio

2-1 David Douglas

2-1 Bill Jenkins

2-2 Chuck Tewksbury (Winner of the “coulda been a contender” award. Chuck had to roll anything but boxcars to be 3-0 and in the running for the gold, but, you guessed it, rolled 12. Anything else he wins that game. ASL is a cruel mistress)

2-3 Kevin Killeen

2-3 David Garvin

1-1 Charlie Willmer

1-1 John Bock

1-1 Stephen Stewart

1-3 Rob Arrieta

1-3 Dennis Dowd

0-2 Mitch Abrams

0-2 teddy Horan

0-2 Robert Schaff

0-3 Burnie Hegdahl

0-4 Jim Hunter

A belated Congratulations to Tom for winning the VASL Nor'easter, no surprise to me who has been playing Tom in all sorts of games since the late 1970s and Squad Leader since 1982 or so. Awesome job Tom and we get to beat each others brains out on VASL today. Thanks also to Carl for organizing it, I could not do Dispatches without either of them, both heroes of ASL in my book (and they even have the counters in the new French module to prove it!).

Again, great job guys, can't wait to see you BOTH in person someday, stay safe and well, Vic.
