A14.1 reads, in part, "A player is subject to Sniper attack...whenever he makes a TH, MC, TC, non-OBA IFT, or Entrenching, Original DR equal to the enemy SAN."

The question comes up on a TK DR. OK, so an AFV makes an ITT shot, rolls a TH and achieves a hit. Now, the TK DR "effects" DR is a "non-OBA IFT" DR (yes/no?) So does the TK DR also allow for the possibility of a Sniper Activation? I've always played "no" because the TK shot is not technically an IFT "shot" it just uses the IFT for "simplicity" of results. Also, that means two potential Sniper Activations for a single "game shot".

That said, one could also argue that the rule (ugh!) says, "non-OBA IFT" and that's what the TK DR is!

I'm sure this has been discussed, but my searching skills didn't bring up anything.

Thanks!

Yup, two chances for an ITT/ATT (once on the TH DR & one on the IFT effects DR) attempt but only one if using the VTT.
