Got this from the estate of Fish Conner as one of the play testers. I found this very interesting but it could just be my historian background kicking in seeing what was proposed and what was finally developed years later. Who wants their war dogs?!

I'm surprised that the war dogs haven't been portrayed in PTO ASL. I can see the dobies adding an interesting component to night scenarios.

I'm envisioning the war dogs HS counters, complete with a Doberman , and in color no doubt if it were created by Broken Ground Designs.

Always interesting to review a designer's notes to see what their initial ideas were at the time.

Counters without scenarios using them are nothing more than bits of cardboard.

I remember bringing playtest Japs with the 4-4-9 values to ASLOK in the late '80s. Tested these with Russ Bunten and Richard (forget last name). Japs proved too strong and AH went with the better values we have today. This sheet brought back many memories.
Always tinged with sadness to see something from Fish's estate.
Years on, I still miss and love you Fish!
