The next print run of counter sheets is approaching, and I have a conundrum.

With all the new stuff laid out, I have a block of 16x 5/8" counters for which I don't have anything planned. This section is to be separated from the rest of the half-sheet (a made-to-order layout), so whatever goes in this section is independent of all of the sheets in this run.

Recommendations? Desires?

FYI, this print run will include the following:
GMD Chinese: 2.5 sheets (two-tone)
GMD Chinese: 2.5 sheets ("GMD blue" - from the Nationalist flag - slightly darker than French)
Japanese: 3 sheets
USMC/PA: 2 sheets (1/2") - standard green
USMC: 3 sheets (inf/ord/AFV) - olive drab
Snipers: 1 sheet (new layout - no OBA counters)
Concealment: 1 sheet 5/8" counters
Concealment: 1 sheet 1/2" counters
Acquisition: 1 sheet 5/8" counters
Humour: half-sheet 1/2" system counters
Filipino Guerillas: half-sheet 1/2" counters (two-tone: US green border; brown centre)
ChiComm: 1 sheet 1/2" counters

Pre-orders for the above will go live in a few weeks.

plus:
custom order
replacement counters for errors/omissions from first print run
reprint French
reprint Italians

Some idea/suggestions...

1) Burning vehicle wrecks seem popular...the flip side could be....scrounged wreck...

2) some folks like the old SL burning house image with the flip side having the kindling values...

3) Korean War Snipers for CPVA, ROK, OUNC (you have US, Brit, KPA= Russian covered).

What do you have planned for The CPVA?

Full national treatment?

Radio Contact/No radio contact various calibers; 70 OBA; 80 OBA; 100 OBA; etc.
These would fit with your existing AR/SR/FFE counters in the first run.

I see USMC/PA in 'standard green' and USMC in olive drab. Why are the USMC being offered in 2 different colors? Is this a typo?

Are the olive drab Marines going to have white text?

For the 16 surplus counters you could do some funnies like Maus counters in blue and black. I believe there are no black sturmtigers (for the reason that the SS did not use them) but you could print some out for DYO purposes.

Wrecks/burning wrecks/burnt out wrecks in bypass? You can use the size of the 5/8 to show both the wreck and the wooden/stone building on the counter.
This is in keeping with the "one counter replacing two (three?) approach.
I have had this need in the past.

I still think having dedicated cavalry counters (counters with picture of mounted troops on a horse and unmounted horses) is a good idea, would save on having to use two counters (horse and multiman counter) when using cavalry and I think it would be a lot more intuitive and look darn cool to boot

But then you have another complete set of counters per nationality mounted version and dismountedi would presume with horse holders on the reverse so you then have more counters in your storage. At the moment it is a squad on top of a horse counter, once deimounted the squad moves off leaving the horse counter where they dismount. therefore only two counters needed but if using printed mounted counters you need the printed mounted, normal horse counter and squad counters so you actually use more????

There is that I guess. But they would still be very cool I think. Better tjan what we have now but that's just my opinion
