I received it today. Nice! I would recommend anyone who didn't get it before (like me for some insane reason) get it now! Anytime a book like this is reprinted grab it. The price is right too.

Not really. It glosses over the October fighting which is most of Red Barricades and only really starts on November 11 1942. So far its really the story of 5 pioneer battalions.

I have been reading with the RB map handy. If you do that you will realize that the RB map got a few things wrong (like the Apothacary being rubbled) and the gutted buildings from VotG would be really appropriate.
