Does anyone know when "The Fight For Hue" will be available?

How nice to snap at him for free at about any occasion and in absentia, of course.
As long as you feel better, give yourself that pleasure.
Not really a snap, just an observation. I check out his website all the time and his reviews of CH's stuff are usually the same, stolen, poorly made, not playtested and just a re-hash of something they already put out. I do agree with most of that observation. His disdain for CH is not hidden very much.

Why do you protect him so much? He can look after himself and uses strong language freely when he sees fit.

I did so too two weeks ago and I ordered the Animal Mother map set in addition.
I am still waiting for a mail about the shipment costs. I asked to ship both items at once, but get no answer.

The order will take a few weeks yet. The counters are at the printers. Maureen will contact you when the item is ready to ship with the final postage cost.

I hoped for an answer about my request to ship all at once.
By the way the counter sheets from the Hue-module can be ordered separately. Here is one example:

http://www.criticalhit.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HUE_US_INF

I wounder why these are available now, but the reprint of the Hue-module is not. It seems that only the map, the scenario sheets and/or the rules have to be re-printed.

It was a long wait to get it reprinted.

Received the module. The map is gorgeous and the counters are okay. The rules are jumbled as ever. The scenarios are pretty large and there is a huge 30+ turn scenario utilising most of the map. I think that with a bit of ingenuity I can have great fun with it all. I've combined the stuff from Hue with the stuff from the CH Annual #1 for a larger collection of counters and rules.

What is interesting is that the NVA and Vietcong are treated as concealed if in concealment terrain and not moving or marked with a fire counter. If they are under a concealment counter as well then FP is quartered against them.

I’m currently reading Bowden’s Hue 1968 and look forward to going back and looking over the module again. He does talks a lot about stone walls around most of the houses but the map shows many areas as huts. Still a very cool map though! And for all those who may be unaware, the city is pronounced “hway”.
